BMSS: Review
19 SEPTEMBER 2016
Mark Fox has won the Baggin' Machine Summer Series 2016.

The Middy Baggin' Machine Summer Series at Lake View Fishery came to a close on Saturday, with Mark Fox taking the title and winning £2,000 and a set of Xtreme poles worth over £800.

His 108lb 3oz off peg 19 Canal was made up of mainly carp and F1's, caught on corn down the edge and also pellet at 5 metres. It was an outstanding result and a clear victory, with second placed Roger Parnell putting together 82lb 1oz from peg 12, which was impressive but short of the mark this time.

Dave Harper came a close 3rd, bagging just shy of 77lb from peg 1 River. The 4th to 7th placed weights were then extremely tight, all between 71lb and 72lb.

Ken Daws finished in 19th place on the day but can be proud to have put together the biggest weight over the whole series, totalling a mighty 1,465lb 1oz and winning £300 for his efforts.

Middy's own Steve Haywood also finished high up in the overall series weights table (3rd), with a total 1,345lb.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in the Summer Series and we look forward to sponsoring the Xtreme Winter Series at Lake View later this year.
